With Helen Lataus, you can charge your electric vehicle at Helen’s charging points. The point may be private, in which case you need to request a permission to use it from the owner of the charging point (e.g. housing company or workplace). The point may also be public, which means that anyone can use it for charging. In addition to Helen’s own public charging network, you can also use the public charging points of our partner, Virta, in Finland and elsewhere in Europe. The nearest public charging point can be found on the map.
The up-to-date price at each charging point is shown on the Virta mobile app. Helen’s general pricing principles for public charging are also available on this page under “Cost of charging at Helen’s own charging points”.
Start charging by showing your RFID tag to the reader of the charging point or activate charging to start with the Virta mobile app.
The RFID tag is an item used for logging in at the charging point in order to start charging. As a customer of Helen Lataus, you get two RFID tags free of charge: a key ring and a card. You can choose which one to use, or you can alternate their use.
You can request your own RFID tag during registration or at a later date via the customer pages. There are two different types of tags: one that looks like a credit card, as well as a key ring, and you will automatically receive both of these when you request a tag. You can decide which one to use (or you can alternate their use). The first RFID tags are free of charge to the customer. If you need to request a new RFID tag, we will charge €10 for it.
There is no monthly fee in the service.
The charging event is paid with the payment card added to the service. The charging events that have taken place during the course of a month are charged once a month.
First, make sure that the charging cable is connected correctly and pushed all the way in. If charging still won’t start, try restarting the charging event with the RFID tag or Virta app.
No, at Helen’s charging points charging can be started with the Virta mobile app or with the RFID tag. The Virta app is available at App Store or Google Play Store.
Helen’s charging points are part of the charging network of our partner, Virta. All of the charging points in this network are shown on the map view. Charging points are also shown on the Virta mobile app. Helen’s charging points have their own distinctive graphic design that sets them apart from others.
We recommend that your register in the service to gain a better customer experience and to benefit from more favourable prices. However, you can also start charging without registering by entering your payment card and the identification number of the charging point you are using on the one-off payment site. Please note that non-registered users pay a higher charging fee.
